Mark began as a pastor at First Church in July of 2012. A native of Delaware County, he has served churches in Eastern Pennsylvania (mostly in urban settings) and in the U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as having worked as a resident chaplain at Lancaster General Hospital. He is a graduate of Boston University and the Duke University Divinity School. He reads a lot, drinks more tea than is probably good for him, and is very glad to be serving in Phoenixville.

Cheryl Cini joined First Church in 2006, after transferring from Covenant UM Church in Springfield, Delaware County.
Cheryl resides in Collegeville with her husband Bill Cini, a registered nurse, and her two boys, Stephen and Alexander. A devoted wife and mother, Cheryl spent her "previous life" as a bookkeeper and couldn't imagine returning to the office setting. Cheryl loves working with the junior and senior high youth. She believes they all have a special gift to offer First Church. She is excited to grow in faith with the youth group through faith lessons, fun, fellowship and outreach.
Cheryl spends most of her spare time involved in "boy activities", sports, scouts, dirt, etc! In her past time, a very rare occasion, she likes to read, quilt, and do anything creative~"girl things".
Cheryl's favorite quote is "Whatever you are, be a good one"
- Abe Lincoln
