Rev. Eva Johnson has served First Church since 2002 and enjoys the process of faith formation through Christian Education with all ages.
"First Church seeks to provide a place for all to grow in their understanding of God and ways to live out their faith in community with others. I hope you will join us for any of the educational opportunities we offer."
Pastor Eva is married to Glenn Shallis, mother to five grown children and grandmother of ten, ranging in ages from infant to teenagers. Having grandchildren helps her in her quest for fitness of body and mind. "Have you chased a two year old lately or listened to the angst of teenage life?" She serves in several positions at the Conference level as co-chair of the Nurturing Disciples Resource Team, Christian Educators Fellowship contact person, Safe Sanctuaries trainer, Teacher trainer, and chair of Hope for the Children which solicits commitments from churches for grant giving to EPA churches working with impoverished children and youth.
Pastor Johnson can be reached at extension 202 through the church office and welcome questions about any of the Christian Education programs and faith concerns you may have.

Cheryl Cini joined First Church in 2006, after transferring from Covenant UM Church in Springfield, Delaware County.
Cheryl resides in Collegeville with her husband Bill Cini, a registered nurse, and her two boys, Stephen and Alexander. A devoted wife and mother, Cheryl spent her "previous life" as a bookkeeper and couldn't imagine returning to the office setting. Cheryl loves working with the junior and senior high youth. She believes they all have a special gift to offer First Church. She is excited to grow in faith with the youth group through faith lessons, fun, fellowship and outreach.
Cheryl spends most of her spare time involved in "boy activities", sports, scouts, dirt, etc! In her past time, a very rare occasion, she likes to read, quilt, and do anything creative~"girl things".
Cheryl's favorite quote is "Whatever you are, be a good one"
- Abe Lincoln
